  Enjoyed a weeks stay in the Sand Dollar cottage. This is our third instance of lodging at Mitchell's Sandcastles on Sanibel Island. It's a quiet and pleasant collection of cabins/cottages located only about 100 yards from the water. Each cottage offers a kitchenette with various sleeping accommodations by cottage. The seclusion from the other larger developments means there are no crowds. However, it is only a few minutes drive to the main dining and shopping locations of the island. The amenities offered include two heated pools, ice machines, daily linen service, bikes, kayaks, chairs, WIFI and umbrellas. Mitchell's is our favorite location to stay when visiting Sanibel Island.
